This work is very much inspirated by surreal artists and barock philosophy. Expecially the poems of a barock poet named Andreas Gryphius have inspired me to do this picture

Andreas Gryphius - Ebenbild unseres Lebens

Der Mensch das Spil der Zeit / spilt weil er allhie lebt.
Im Schau-Platz diser Welt; er sitzt / und doch nicht feste.
Der steigt und jener fällt / der suchte der Paläste /
Vnd der ein schlechtes Dach / der herrscht und jener webt.
Was gestern war ist hin / was itzt das Glück erhebt;
Wird morgen untergehn / die vorhin grüne Aeste
Sind numehr dürr und todt / wir Armen sind nur Gäste
Ob den ein scharffes Schwerdt an zarter Seide schwebt.
Wir sind zwar gleich am Fleisch / doch nicht von gleichem Stande
Der trägt ein Purpur-Kleid / und jener grabt im Sande /
Biß nach entraubtem Schmuck / der Tod uns gleiche macht.
Spilt denn diß ernste Spil: weil es die Zeit noch leidet /
Vnd lernt: daß wenn man von Pancket des Lebens scheidet:
Kron / Weißheit / Stärck und Gut / bleib ein geborgter Pracht
